Meet the Team
For more than 20 years, Jim Sullivan has provided personal financial planning with an emphasis on tax, Medicare and Social Security strategies. A specialist in healthcare-related financial planning, Jim has advised clients and their families confronting the challenges associated with chronic and terminal illnesses including ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease), traumatic brain injuries (TBIs) and Alzheimer’s disease among others.
He holds an undergraduate degree from Northern Illinois University in American history and a minor in Russian and Russian history. He also holds a Master of Accounting Science (M.A.S.) degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana after which he successfully passed the CPA exam.
Jim is a regular columnist for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (the AICPA) frequently writing on healthcare-related issues and their impact on financial planning. Jim lives in Glen Ellyn, Illinois with his wife, two beagles and three adult children who appear determined to never move out and live on their own.
