Julie has provided community relations for over twenty years. With a degree in accounting, Julie brings a wide variety of experience to Fairhaven. She also worked at Price Waterhouse, McDonald’s Corporation, was an account executive with Estée Lauder and spent two decades doing community relations for Romanucci & Blandin.

In 1993, Julie Papievis was in a car crash that severed much of her brain stem. Only 4 percent of those suffering this type of traumatic injury survive. Julie did not beat the odds. She died on the way to the hospital. Miraculously, her brain stem did heal without surgery and Julie returned to life.

Julie’s miraculous story of recovery combined with her engaging personality makes her a nationally sought-after speaker and media personality. Featured in the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, and The Daily Herald, Julie also has shared her story on numerous television appearances including ABC, CNN, WGN, LifeTime and the Dr. Oz show.

Julie’s passions include sharing her story with others, good food (especially fresh fish) and swimming.

As Brand Ambassador for Fairhaven Wealth Management, Julie uses her experience as a reminder of important elements in the financial planning process; avoid procrastination, act and view resources as tools to take care of ourselves and those around us.
